Why Exhibit?

The golden age for Southeast Asia’s tech advancement is at hand. By 2030, Southeast Asia’s digital economy is poised to grow to $1 trillion, according to a Google-led report. This digital economy is also considered by investors to be one of the last in the world to offer opportunities.

Southeast Asia’s Market Potential

Golden Age for Tech Advancement

2021 saw as many as 40 million users across the region join the internet for the first time. By 2030, its digital economy is poised to grow to $1 trillion, according to a Google-led report. This digital economy is also considered by investors to be one of the last in the world to offer opportunities.

Strong Demand in Tech-Mind Market

According to Report Ocean, Southeast Asia’s AR and VR market will grow by 38.3% annually with a total addressable market cap of $31.6 billion from now to 2027. AR and VR, touchless digital signage, wearables and voice-recognition systems – such cutting-edge technologies will be highly sought after as more businesses converge at SEA, all hoping to be a part of its digitalization journey.

An Inevitable Digital Revolution

Paralleling the staggering growth of Southeast Asia’s digital economy is its GDP, projected to spike from $3 trillion in 2020 to $6.8 trillion by 2030, as reported by China Daily. Bain & Company says that by 2022, some 50 million new consumers will join the middle class in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, adding to the region’s $300 billion middle-class disposable income. This middle class fully embraces the online world, using it to drive their own personal developments.

Positive Outlook for Asia Pacific's Pro-AV Market

The revenue of the larger Asia Pacific’s Pro-AV market is also set to hit $126 billion by 2025. Its growth will be the strongest compared with the rest of the world’s. The surging Pro-AV sentiment in the continent will certainly inspire and boost ASEAN’s own activity.
